About Care One
From the beginning, ODWC's mission was to strengthen local leadership and create strong community bonds through cultural events and common social and economic interactions of the local population. ODWC fulfills this mission by designing projects which incorporate leadership training, community support, collaboration with other nonprofit and community-based – more... organizations, and social, cultural, and educational activities. Three overriding program goals guide the direction of ODWC's projects:
1. Building bridges between cultures and races
2. Developing and strengthening leadership among local women and youth
