The Environmental Careers Organization, Inc. is a 34-year-old national, nonprofit organization dedicated to developing the next generation of professionals, managers and leaders. This is accomplished by using the oldest learning model: the apprenticeship where the current generation teaches and learns from the next. ECO manages intern and fellowship – more... programs for client agencies, corporations, foundations and organizations across the country and the environment. It also has supporting services of conferences, workshops, seminars, books, and publications. ECO's diversity is responsible for recruiting and placing 2,500 students of color in the last 14 years.
