Utility Technician (Current Employee), Fresno, CAJune 25, 2014
its always a daily challenge when its come down to what comes up everyday. there days that is easy and days that are hard. I so far learned all about the ammonia system and the full capability of BTUs. working around food production in the beef processing. A lot of the co- workers are really great to work with and they tend to help you even when its – more... not in there area. – less

Cleaner (Former Employee), Milwaukee, WiMay 30, 2014
Pros: managers making sure that everyone was on he same page with everything
Cons: point system
My days was always keeping the floors clean and sanitized meat. I learned a lot about meat and how it was cut and packaged. My manager was always on the go and very strict on how things were done. I barely spoke with my co-workers because were busy doing they part of the job. The only hardest part of the was cleaning after everyone shift. The best part – more... was the environment in the building and watching and learning how they did the job in case if I wanted to change my position. – less

Cargill Contractor - WWTS employee
PCLM Software Coordinator (Former Employee), Hopkins, MNMay 29, 2014
I had multiple positions while employed there. All my co-workers were very hard working and we all respected eachother's abilities. Cargill had some wonderful food in the cafeteria. There was alot of volunteer work that you could sign up for. Blood drives. The people there were very diversified. You never knew who you'd meet during the day and what country – more... that they'd be from. – less

High turn over of young engineers, need more followup training, techs are all very knowledgable but an extreme shortage of techs is beginning to strain the ability to maintain all equipment that is needed.

IT PROCUREMENT & FINANCE ANALYST (Current Employee), Hopkins, MNMay 21, 2014
Pros: compensation
Cons: poor job security
Business is based on cost. When costs are high, they need to be lowered as was the case with IT Infrasture at Cargill, which will be fully outsourced by Sept. 2014

deckhand for cargill
Deckhand (Former Employee), Charleston, MOMay 20, 2014
Pros: great company to work for
Cons: dangerous at times
The job is very well managed. The company is all about safety. They have a safety meeting every morning before work to remind people the dangers and what could get dangerous. Being a deckhand, and loading barges is hot and cold too. Hardhats, safety glasses, steeltoe boots, pants, and a lifevest are required.
