We seek a motivated, self-starter to work in our intermediate Care Facility serving adults & children with severe-profound developmentally disabilities. This job is both challenging & very rewarding.
Responsibilities include management of health-care needs, med techs, & meds/supplies for two 6-bed group homes; all on the main campus.
Some Nursing experience required. Good people skills, including communicating with the individuals, family members and staff, accompanying mostly wheelchair-bound individuals to MD appts and communicating with the physician.
Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs unassisted. Unencumbered NC Drivers license and willingness to drive a van arerequired.
Mon-Fri, with paid after-hours & weekend on-call for one week of every 4 weeks. We prefer somebody to work mostly 10:30 A to 7:00 P.
We are a small Nursing Dept that works well with each other, flexible, and need another great team player.
