workplace is typical hospital. patients in ...patients out. staff would rather eat their young than help them out. management is non existent to regular employees. they show up on occasion to smile and wave and then on to the next stop...like typical politicians. most experienced employees are arrogant and not helpful...no guidance. there are some who are great and want to make sure patient care is #1 so they'll go above and beyond to help someone new to the facility. a lot of the doctors have God complexes and only speak to you when it is to show authority. hours are long and no one cares if you get a break at all. pay is pretty good and competitive. Management does do a class for the employees that is a model of Disney's employee / customer satisfaction policy that has been adopted there --- they tell you how they get paid to go to Disney every year to learn what they're passing along.....and they harp on it just enough to tick you off.
hard to find someone willing to help above their job duties, management invisible
