Bilingual French Collections (Former Employee) – Raleigh, NC – November 7, 2017
Carquest Auto Parts also Known as Advance Auto Parts has changed since Advance Auto Parts purchased Carquest. It's very stressful to work there, people do not last there, you can see about 10 people leaving the same week or month because they are not happy. Managers don't know what they are doing. They treat employees like trash. In short, it's a horrible company to work for
Delivery Driver (Former Employee) – Phoenix, AZ – November 5, 2017
Before merging with Advance Auto Parts, CarQuest was a great brand to work with. A lot of customers relied on us for their Auto Parts needs. The manager was great. The DM micro managed a lot of our day to day activities. Pay wasn't great
Mobile Parts Pro (Former Employee) – Huntsville, AL – September 17, 2017
I was given many opportunities to show and apply the knowledge that i had learned which in turn made me a better employee, I worked with a great group of folks. I hope to find another employer as good as this one.
Long hours thankless job. Management is pushed to perform or its their job so they push you does not matter if the phone rings or not or if the customer walks through the door its the hourly wage earner who is to blame for the poor performance of the store.
Parts Handler (Former Employee) – Billings, MT – August 18, 2017
It use to be a great company to work for. But now since there is different management there, it has not been that great of a place to work for. Management never took care of any problems that happen there neither did HR. The employees back stab other employees. They would make it a drama place. Not a great working environment is what they would make it as. No one would work as a team. Like you should. Overall with the company, I'm disappointed.
Shuttle Driver/Loop Driver (Former Employee) – Oxnard, CA – August 17, 2017
I cannot offer a fair review of this company. I would still be there but I had to leave after working there 9 years. My housing rent was increasing and as my wages were stagnant, I occasionally worked some overtime, which was readjusted before payday, yielding 40 hours exactly and no way to prove the fraud. I was pending losing all and so I chose to leave the job to help family instead so I would not end up on the street. Improving transfer assistance and guidelines would undoubtedly be helpful as well. I feel that I was thrown under the bus and I have disgust for them.
