I remember being so excited to work here. That feeling quickly changed. I understand why this place has a fast turn over with employees. Management is horrible. No one is a team player. I didn't feel comfortable asking my manager for any help because I knew more than she did. Worst place to work!

Having been a previous employee in retail lending, the ideas were great, but execution was poor.Commitments in service were spoken of, but delivering was a whole new issue. The company is young, the inexperience apparent, when they grow up they might actually be a good company to work for.

Each day would start off with going throuhg our queue to see if docs needed were uploaded so we could U/W the file. /i learned how to scrub files faster. As in any large environment there are many different personalities, which makes it an interesting day everyday, and at the end of the day we are there to help one another. The hardest part of the job – more... would be not enough time in a day to decision as many files as I want to. A good place to get your foot back into the mortgage industry.

I am a Senior Government Underwriter. I underwrite primarily FHA purchase and refinance transactions on a wholesale basis. The staff has more experience than most other lenders that I have worked with in the past. I believe Carrington Mortgage Services is a good place to work at especially in this current market.

Do not believe all different positions that they advertise.
All the positions are mortgage collection. Working on a dialer and calling on delinquint accounts.
Sure they have coffee, tea, donuts on Fridays!!!

Everyone appears to help everyone out. If they don't know the anser, we find it together. I have found some great friends. Great training!!

My first week 4 people quit including the person that was training me. I pretty much had to train myself.

Carrington Mortgage Services is a good company to work for, however they do not offer a retirement plan and for someone that has a growing family this is essential.
