Great people working together to make the world a better place.

This non-profit is committed to making the world a better place by improving the lives of children and their families. That focus carries through to the work place. The hours are sane, and people work at a steady pace. The "break room" is a large space with a wall of windows, plenty of tables, and a fully equipped kitchen that encourages people to fix a nice meal, eat together off the provided ceramic dishes, and put their dishes in one of the dishwashers before going back to work.
I was at Casey headquarters for a short-term contract. Regular employees seem to have a good benefits package, plus a sabbatical every seven years. I forget how long the sabbatical is, but it was more than a month off at full pay.
That lunch room! Really nice people. Doing work that matters.
