Tight knit team with a fast paced sales environment
Retail Salesperson, (Former Employee), Adelaide – May 16, 2012
Pros: above award wages
Cons: not enough hours
My role at cash converters was a very fun and upbeat position, i learned about customer service, and sucessful sales strategies both with on the job training and also experience with customers, Management were very good and courteous, and would often take the time to tell you what a good job you were doing. working within a tight knit team of other – more... driven individuals made it a very enjoyable experience for me, and was also a good environment to challenge myself as a salesperson, the hardest part of the job at first was dealing with problem customers but as i became more grounded and experienced in my role it became easier and easier. The most enjoyable part of the job was dealing with the public, and being able to help customers find what they need or otherwise help them to the best of my ability. – less
Senior Buyer (Current Employee), Virginia Beach, VA – April 16, 2012
Pros: leniencey, relax, movies
Cons: short breaks, health care, sometimes unprofessional
The job was fairly boring. I've been working there for seven years and it adds no sense of creativity or difficulty. I learned a lot about electronic for stereos to tools. The management team were pretty good in the entire company. The co-workers were fun to work with and very diverse. The hard part of the job were the angry customers and the most enjoyable – more... part of the job were the nice customers. They were very respectful and the understood how a business is supposed to work. In the position that I worked at we could watch movies while we worked. – less
