Catalina Offshore Products, Inc. seeks a Retail Administrative Assistant for our retail seafood department. Catalina Offshore Products is one of the largest seafood import and export companies in California, servicing wholesalers, restaurants and consumers through our 16,000-foot processing plant and retail fish market, both based in San Diego. Catalina Offshore Products is dedicated to providing the highest quality fresh seafood and customer service.

The Retail Administrative Assistant will assist in our fish market which serves walk-in customers including local chefs. Skills / Requirements:

- Strong customer service background
- Retail cashier experience preferred
- Must be able to handle answering multi-line phones
- Data entry; POS experience preferred; Net Yield experience a plus
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Take orders in a courteous and professional manner both in person and by phone
- Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment including keeping track of prices and inventory
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Admin / personal assistant for retail manager
- Provide break relief for fellow staff members
- Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency

Job Status: Full-Time; must be available to work Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays
Availability: Immediate
Pay Rate: $10-$12 depending on experience
Medical and Dental benefits after 90 days for full-time employees
