CHP separated each area by what they called "towers".
Our Data Integrity tower had great leadership from top to bottom. Those at the top even stopped by to say Hi when they were in town. Your hard work was respected all the way up the ladder.
I was in the Data Management group. We meet daily to discuss issues, progress, and upcoming events. If you needed assistance, someone within the group was willing to lend a hand or point you in the right direction of someone that could help.
I was part of three teams. STAR SQL Report Writer, Boston Workstation Scripts and File Transfer.
The hardest part of the job was late hours and some weekends. The best part of the job was working those hours with people that cared.

This is a good company, but not much room for advancement. I have learned a lot about Information Security and the importance of giving the proper access to the proper people. The management is not sure what I do everyday, my job was moved to this team a year ago, and my boss just hasn't grasped my functions and what I do. My Co-Workers are nice and hardworking. the hardest part of my job is coming in and doing the same thing everyday, with no real "Mix up".

Very obvious the cream of the crop do not run the show. Many knee jerk reactions take place. Many Management are not qualified to perform a managerial role. No advancement unless you play politics and tell mistruths on others. Lots of rumors and very un Christian like behavior by Management. Not very technical employees in the IT space. Many mistakes made due to poor planning and no real experience. Upper Management will do unnecessary measures to make team members pay. It is very common to have worked there many years with multiple positions held. Many employees on edge and organization is not trust worthy. Way too many Contractors are in Management roles and travel at there own convenience on major projects. Few do the work of many it is a shame long time employees are in constant fear of losing their job due to age or being paid too much. Micro managed and lots of anger is demonstrated by management. No confidentiality what so ever in the HR department Full of rumors and constant change, I'm sure the original sisters would not appreciate how the healthcare system has developed.

Great co-workers but management is terrible'. "Good-old boy" network that cuts to the bone, but pays themselves more than the 3x the local competitors CEO's salary. Employees are taken advantage of and overworked.

Service Desk Level 1 Support for Mercy Hospitals (Former Employee) – Cincinnati, OH – September 24, 2013
I worked as Support for Helpdesk Level 1 with the intention of being there a long time and advancing within the company. I performed above expactations- while they expected 40 calls handled in a day, I would easily answer at least 55. I was fired after 3 weeks without any explanation, or prior notice of any infractions or having spoken with any managers about misconduct or failure to meet expectations.

I like the work I did it was very productive and exciting to do. I learned alot about how the hospitals and vendors opperate. I was on a time basis to complete work that was needed for production and I liked the challenge. I am a former employee and I can tell you one thing, this is the worst place to work at that I have ever experience in my 25 years in the medical field. The supervisor was unfair and downright mean. She had favorites, and was very judgmental without evaluated the worker when it can to what skills that had in xray. I submitted my resignation and then because the boss was upset I turned my notice in, she banned me from this network for 5 years! I was their for 6 months with no evaluations. I thought this trial period was to see if the employee liked Rookwood, but apparently I was wrong. I was supposed to work after I turned in my notice at another Mercy Network, and this boss banned me. I was left with no job, and had to scramble to find work. Please do not work here!!!!!They play favorites and do not go on what skill level you have to offer. You have to butter up to the superiors especially in xray. Check the record. The CT techs have come and go here. Left for the same reasons. I will never forgive what was done to me, and should have really got legal help.

Job Work/Life Balance

This is a terrible place to work. Management structure is ever changing and they don't communicate projected changes within the clinics. HR department is really bad and are never available to help when it is needed. If they don't like you or feel threatened that you may expose them, they will find a way to get rid of you. They allow and cover up insurance fraud, provider misconduct, and use office funds to pay for lobster dinners. They are "chasing after" Promedica by hiring their flunkies.

The organization has great plans, but falls short on execution. Located at several locations in Ohio the organization yields many locations to work. Unfortunately it is difficult to climb the corporate ladder.

The resolution specialist role is a fast past high demand position that require at least 10 to 15 hours overtime per week. the most difficult part of the role is the demanding hours. the position do not offer a equal balance between work and life. The resolution specialist role has a department of 2 that supports the 15th largest health network in the nation .n Then most enjoyable part of the position is you have the opportunity to work with many different people and resolve complex issues
As clinical informaticist I was involved in the implementation of a new electronic medical record system. Teaching staff and staff support of the electronic medical record system as well as other applications used in the 24 hospitals that are served by Catholic Health Partners. Support was done at the elbow of the end-users (employees) and via telephone. Co-workers were very knowledgeable and helpful. On-call could be difficult at time but I mostly enjoyed by job as I was learning every day.
