Pros: occasional handouts from the sales area, yearly bonus from review
Cons: angry frustrated and ignored customers, advancement very minimal except at the home office, most promotions for the sales professionals only
No Position advancement unless you have at least an AA Degree, someone local leaves, or you live in Atlanta Georgia, the home office location. Yearly Bonus for excellent reviews. The most difficult part of the job was listening to the customer complaints directly (as a part of my job) and not being able to make any change in the structure that caused or irritated those complaints. Insurance is with United Health Care and is gradually becoming more and more difficult and expensive. Co-workers were great. Management started excellent but in the past couple of years has placed more focus on the statistic size rather than what it represents (maybe) in growth related service of the customer. The sub-set of this is a great focus on trying to remote service/repair the customer %100, with no or minimal local or remote technicians. The technicians tend to become customer hand holders. – less
