My typical workday starts at 9AM. Since I've been with CDNetworks I learned a lot about content acceleration. The product offering is great and very useful to customers who need their websites to upload fast.
I enjoy my customer base. I handle 51 accounts globally and work with a great sales and engineering team. The work culture is fairly young and inexperienced, 75% of the workforce has been there less than 2-years and the turnover is much higher than originally communicated during the interview process.
With my leadership team being fairly new to management, I see my growth potential being hindered. Having worked under some awesome managers in my previous employment, I know that job structure, communication, mentoring, solid processes and in depth training is vital for the success of your team.
The most enjoyable part of the job is the face to face meetings with the customers getting to know their CDN needs, as well as what we as a business need to do in order to retain their partnership. Account nurturing is key.
