At Cedars-Sinai, excellence means engaging with every opportunity to learn. In 2002, Cedars-Sinai founded the Geri and Richard Brawerman Nursing Institute to provide an educational platform for its nurses.

With generous operational and endowed grant funds, we offer financial assistance and free education programs to Cedars-Sinai employees, including advanced training for specialized roles such as nurse practitioner, clinical nurse specialist and certified midwife. Training is available in acute, critical, emergency and neonatal care, as well as nurse midwifery, oncology, operating room subspecialties and care for specific populations such as seniors and children.

Our support of personal and professional growth combined with strong educational programs has given Cedars-Sinai one of the most highly trained nursing workforces in the country. More than three-quarters of our direct-care nurses have a specialty certification, while eight out of 10 have a bachelor of science in nursing or a master’s degree.

The Cedars-Sinai S. Mark Taper Foundation Imaging Center is home to a varied group of medical professionals, from nurses to technicians to physicians who bring everything they have to providing the highest caliber of personalized care for our patients.

We look for the best to join our team of nearly 40 board-certified, subspecialized radiologists, cardiologists and nuclear medicine specialists, as well as a highly trained support staff of certified, specialized technologists, nurses and administrative assistants.

Our imaging technologies play a pivotal role in the inpatient and outpatient procedures we perform. Even the smallest details can make a huge impact for our patients, and it’s because of the passion, expertise and dedication of our team that we’ve achieved recognition as the “Most Preferred Hospital” in Los Angeles for more than 20 years.

Our world-class Pharmacy Services Department includes six satellite pharmacies, a drug information center, three outpatient pharmacies and the central pharmacy. Our staff of more than 300 employees includes pharmacists, technicians, residents and interns, and support personnel. In addition, we are committed to providing you with the most advanced information technology and resources available, including Micromedex, OVID and MD Consult.


Working as a rehabilitation professional at Cedars-Sinai, you’ll find that patient-centered care is key to the services we provide. We offer physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech-language therapy in the acute hospital and outpatient rehabilitation settings.
