Scientist, Danvers, MA - September 30, 2017
The company culture is healthy. Low stress, good work-life balance, good job security, and reasonably strong leadership. Not much politics or drama. The management care about employee career development and try to make things happen with available resources. The organization operation is fairly efficient and continuous improvement efforts can be seen. However, R&D resource allocation for technology innovation is clearly insufficient, which is concerning. Compensation is average for the reagent sector of biotech, but this sector does not pay as much. Overall, as an experienced scientist, I feel underpaid. Benefit package is average or slightly above. Good medical insurance with high company contribution (90%).
