CEC in Morris County has the need for a Part time Driver to provide transportation to children involved with the State Division of Child Protection and Permanency (DCP&P). Responsibilities include picking up and dropping children off at their respective schools/placements/homes throughout the State of New Jersey, providing supervision to children before and after services at CEC, maintaining appropriate safety regulations as set forth by the NHTSA (National Highway Transportation Safety Administration) and DCP&P, maintaining the vehicle, including attending any and all safety inspections, fueling, and standard month-to-month maintenance, and working with the office management to assist in maintaining office supplies. Applicant must have a valid New Jersey Driver’s License, submit to fingerprinting, be flexible and willing to work afternoons and evenings, and be willing and able to work with children of all ages, including those with special needs and/or developmental disabilities. Salary is between $17-20 per hour for approximately 16-20 hours a week.
