Central Florida Cancer Institute (CFCI) seeks a Network Administrator/IT Director to provide network support to CFCI's multiple-site environment.
Functions perhaps above and beyond a traditional Network Admin role would include maintaining all IT-related vendor contacts and relationships such as ISP, phone vendors, and software vendors, also to include contract monitoring and negotiation/signing (the IT Director part).
Typically, the Network Admin would provide a "level 2" support for all IT-related systems, including CFCI's 12 Dell Windows 2003 and 2008 servers (no virtualization), 80+ PCs, firewalls, switches, printers, and other healthcare-related IT equipment including CT scanners (networking only). There is another on-site desktop/applications support person who would handle everything at the PC side, including printers, phones, network wiring, cell phones, etc., and can assist in Active Directory ("AD") and application (i.e., Varian) password resets.
Included in the Network Admin role, then, would be full Active Directory management (including batch scripting as well as GPOs), server updates (WSUS) as well as warranty monitoring, helpdesk system management, Exchange 2010 email management, antivirus management (server-side), and all IT documentation (using notepad and Visio).
Technology skills needed (beyond the terms above) would be Windows XP to 7, IE8/9, MS Office 2003 to 2010, Server 2003 and 2008, Exchange web access (OWA), DNS, DHCP (not currently used), hard drive imaging, light IIS and SQL management, VoIP phone management, VPNs, and Windows RDP/3rd party remote applications.
The Network Admin would need to be independent but standards-focused, in my opinion, considering our physical company size (multi-site).
Familiarity with Centricity EMR system is a plus.
Salary: $40,000-$55,000 annually plus full benefits depending on skills and experience
