As a cashier at CREC I did much more than just cashiering. A lot was expected from the cashiers including skipping lunches when there was no one to cover us which was quite often, of course our supervisors couldn't ever cover us because they didn't know how to do our jobs nor did they care to learn but they would scold you and punish you if you made a simple mistake. The attitude and the unwillingness to help in management trickles down from the top. They have a superior attitude towards the workers that was so hard to be a part of day after day for years.
I learned If you were friends with management in my department you could pretty much do anything you wanted but if you weren't then you did not have job security.
I did love my co-workers. They were hard working people who made a thankless job more bearable. I also loved the members! I truly miss them.
