About Centura Health at Home

Centura Health is a faith-based, not-for-profit health care organization formed in 1996 by Catholic Health Initiatives and Adventist Health System. Centura Health's mission is to extend the healing ministry of Christ by caring for those who are ill and by nurturing the health of the people in our communities.

 – more... seven senior living facilities, and Centura Health at Home,home care, hospice, infusion, home medical equipment and oxygen services.

Every year, more than half a million people turn to Centura Health to deliver their babies, receive emergency care, obtain life-saving surgery, be treated in their homes, enjoy shelter during their senior years, and accept comfort and care during their final days.

As a not-for-profit, faith-based organization, Centura Health invests every dollar we earn into furthering our mission. Centura provides care and comfort to more than half a million people each year and is Colorado's fourth largest private employer with more than 13,000 associates.

In the fiscal year ended June 30, 2006, Centura Health:


Provided $239 million in charity and uncompensated care. Contributed $20.9 million to more than 300 community programs. Underwrote $59.4 million in government care for the elderly and poor.
Provided more than 12,000 jobs and returned $521 million in payroll to the economy. Operated Flight For Life Colorado and the largest trauma network in the state, helping in 331,583 emergencies. Provided 85,583 hospital stays. Cared for 22,278 hospice and home care patients.
