Great place to work but was in transition

Ceridian was a good place to work but was in the process of adding smaller payroll companies. There was a lot of upheaval and not a lot of security at the time.

Family atmosphere. Ceridian culture is one of a family atmosphere. Each quarter and year end we battle with each deadline to meet customer demands to file timely tax returns. My team ensure we receive customer files timely and properly formatted. We work with internal and external customers to ensure files are properly format to ensure timely filing.

Cons: organization in transition from service bureau to cloud-based solutions created fear, uncertainty and doubt in existing value proposition.
My tenure at Ceridian was chaotic as senior sales management changed 4 times from the end of 2011 to December of 2013. Shifting product / service goals ( sunset old HPL service to roll out Dayforce cloud services ) obscured sales goals and objectives during the 2012 sales year. Constant implementation challenges and customer support issues interrupted sales momentum during 2013. Corporate name change to Ceridian HCM ( finally from Ceridian ) reflected the confusion and conflict with the rank and file associates as well as the Boardroom.
