The campus is beautiful.
Benefits Administrator (Current Employee), Saint Petersburg, FL – April 25, 2013
Pros: benefits start on your first day, 3 weeks vacation.
Cons: high healthcare premiums
My co-workers are great, there is such a team environment and we are always ready to help each other.

One of the best things about my job is that I like to help people solve their problems.

The other is troubleshooting to find a root cause and fixing it so the error doesn't happen again.

The company is ok, the turnover rate is more alarming. They churn employees like churning butter.

temp work only
Data Entry (Former Employee), Saint Petersburg, FL – March 20, 2013
Pros: temp job
Cons: temp job
Input data information on incoming calls. Directed storm victims information on where and how to get an adjuster to there home. Worked independently at call center. Getting immediate help for the suffered customer was my hardest part of the job. Getting an adjuster to come sooner than later was rewarding.

Has typical Executive Management disconnect with employees
TECHNICAL SERVICES MANAGER - Unix/DB/SAN (Current Employee), Atlanta, GA – March 18, 2013
Pros: employees - team focused and long tenures
Cons: business and technology resources are growing further apart with different goal sets.
Company continually cycles upper management from outside positions and retreads concepts that were previously tried....

Despite murky management guidelines the employee base is incredibly loyal.

lots of temp employees
Client Care Associate (Former Employee), St. Petersburg – March 7, 2013
Company runs off of temporary employees.
Hope to become a "real employee" as that is the only way the company treats you like a real person, otherwise, you are treated like a simpleton robot that is easily replaced with another simpleton robot.

Health Spending Account
Data Entry (Former Employee), Saint Petersburg, FL – February 15, 2013
Pros: able to learn the compensation of flexible spending accounts
Cons: brief contract position
Worked on the Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) to research and make sure receipts and items were proof enough to reimburse them. This ranged from Health to Dependent care. This was a pure Data Entry position. (Staffing Agency - Assignment was complete)

Productive Place to Work
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee), Saint Petersburg, FL – February 9, 2013
You definitely learn a lot of information that you can take to you in your next career. They are very slow to hire from temporary to permanent.

Worked in a virtual atmosphere.
Real Estate Closing Coordinator (Former Employee), Hopewell, PA – January 28, 2013
Pros: being able to work from home
Cons: working from home and not having imediate access to other co-workers if needed.
Spoke with clients related to payroll needs to confirm all the correct information was processed in a timely fashion. Learn the set-up and process of weekly and bi-weekly payroll processing. Working in a virtual atmosphere meant not always being able to get help from other co-workers in a timely fashion when needed. Getting to know the needs of different – more... payroll deductions ect. Enjoyed working with the customers. – less

Great Co-Workers
Call Center Customer Service (Current Employee), Saint Petersburg, FL – December 27, 2012
Pros: nice campus, nice and fun co-workers
Cons: serious lack of training, job stability, unrealistic expectations, systems outdated
I was hired as a temp in their customer service call center for open enrollment benefits. I thoroughly enjoyed the job until I was chosen by Management to work in Payroll. Since working in Payroll, it has been a total nightmare. First off, they "trained" ( I use this term loosely) us for only 2 weeks to do Payroll. Payroll is not something you can learn – more... in only 2 weeks!!! They fed us to the sharks and the environment is more like sink or swim. I don't think I've ever seen a level of stupidity that Management has consistently displayed in an organization like this. Poor business decisions lead to losing great employees and most importantly, clients. Which happens on a daily basis. Out of 12 of us, there are only 7 of us left from our "training" class because the demands proved to be too stressful. If you're a potential client looking for Ceridian to process payroll, look somewhere else because no one has a clue as to what they're doing due to the lack of training. If you enjoy being part of a cutthroat organization that doesn't value their employees or clients with no job stability this may be the place for you. – less

Military One Source
Work life/Triage Consultant (Former Employee), St Petersburg Beach, FL – December 11, 2012
Pros: hours
Cons: n/a
This was a contracted position funded by the Dept of Defense and with Ceridian, Inc. who was the provider for this program. It was a rewarding experience working in a call center; all employees had to have Masters level degree. It was working with active military personnel and their families.

It has not been a happy place to work since 2007
Business Analyst (Current Employee), Saint Petersburg, FL – December 4, 2012
I've learned a lot from this company. However, the moral is very poor right now. There have been so many layoffs with knowledgable employees let go. Now they are hiring for certain areas and these new employees have no experience in benefits from what I understand. They are expecting you to learn the job with practically no training. I often assist – more... the newbies with their questions because I want to and I feel for them. They are like fishes out of water in some cases. There have been so many changes in management and also who does what that you can't keep track anymore.
The hardes pat of the job right now is not being able to get things done with other departments quickly like it used to be.
The most enjoyable part is still having some employees there that I worked with since day one and talking to them. – less

Claims Group Data Entry (Former Employee), Saint Petersburg, FL – December 2, 2012
Pros: ability to help those needing cobra benefits
Cons: lack of communication from managers
work with email correspondents; nice co-workers; learned about COBRA benefits. My time at this company too short to give a fair review.

UNIX Systems Administrator/Manager (Former Employee), New Jersey – November 28, 2012

covering for over 100 computer systems, with no backup. On call 24/7 365. Never had a true vacation there.

This position was one in which I was trained by the company. I enjoyed the first year.
Administrator (Former Employee), Saint Petersburg, FL – November 24, 2012
Pros: i learned new information about fsa accounts.
Cons: impossible demands by company and low pay.
This position required the management of Flexible Spending Accounts. This was done on a file by file basis. After training, our file amounts rose expedentially and as a result, many coworkers left. I was one of the last of my training class to leave. This was a full-time position. The pay was low and pressure high.

Great group of employees/co-workers
Payroll Analysts (Former Employee), St. Louis, MO – November 15, 2012
Pros: company took good care of employees; management cared about team
Cons: extended hours at year end; although, this is to be expected when working with payroll and w-2's.
I scored the company low in job security due to being let go as the company moved all positions to St. Petersburg, FL. The advancement opportunities at Ceridian were great.

Worked as a temp, so I had no benefits or paid holidays.
Flexible Spending Account Representative (Former Employee), St. Petersburg, FL – October 8, 2012
I had a wonderful supervisor who loved being asked questions.
We dealt with a variety of HRA and FSA claims. I worked these when we could accept a register receipt to pay the client. Paying claims over 100 pages long were the most trying. I enjoyed my co-workers and learning about the FSA world.
