Import/Export Coordinator (Former Employee) – Plainview, NY – February 3, 2018
the hours can be all over the place at times. the pay didn't reflect the amount of work and time you need to put in in order to get the jobs done. management is either clueless or just doesn't care about the employees at all. do as much work in as short amount of time as possible don't you dare get caught taking 3 mins more in the bathroom than expected people will say hey i notice you were gone for a while. if you're not glued to your chair or area its a nightmare everyone willing to rat you out to gain an edge. not the time of place you stay that long you gain some time in the field and run for the hills.
met some decent people during my time there
management couldn't get of their own way, horrible work culture everyone was miserable and burnt out. low pay compared to other labs.
Microbiology Lab Associate 1 (Current Employee) – Melville, NY – January 26, 2018
A place where management takes advantage of fresh graduates who need work experience. Everyone is overworked and underpaid. Expectations of what needs to be done changes everyday and absolutely no consistency. The only pros are that they are switching to 4 10hour shifts per week so you get some of your life back and a great lab manager. The obvious problem is the supervisors who don't understand what they are doing at all.
