A typical day for me would be taking a 30 min lunch when I was supposed to get an hour and missing out on my breaks regularly, or taking maybe a 5 minute break and going back to get the work done. I was constantly stressed about time, and I would get there before my scheduled time everyday. Some of the work was on the physical side, even in the lab, which is fine except for when you get no breaks and are really hungry.
The most enjoyable part of the job was my immediate co-workers. I wish I could take them out of there and put them in better jobs where the atmosphere is better. However, many others walk around and wont even smile at you. Everyone seems mad or stressed even if they aren't. It's completely normal for the to treat you like they don't like you, even if they do, it's just the atmosphere. The management and team leads however are snakes. Watch out for them, they play favorites. You are told one thing about the way Ceva is supposed to work, but management does whatever they want. They make assumptions on peoples work effort and attitude without even being back there.
Training needs a lot of work. They preach they want all employees to be trained on everything, but only teach a few things and then go back to getting the job done as priority number one. When you say you would like to learn more and become a more valuable employee, it seen as complaining.
You are hardly acknowledged for doing good work, being on time, never calling out sick. When it comes time to get hired on permanently, they hire not based on what you were told by the staffing agency, its who they like more and not after how many hour you put in.
They are growing to fast and it is causing growing pains everywhere throughout the company.
