A typical days work here was simple. I learned about the toxic waste and how to stack it properly. Management was okay they had there few ups and downs, but doesnt all companies. The hardest part of the job is the team leader watching your every move.

I'm a very fast learner with the thrieved to excel in the company.

zero concern for the owner operator. you will go bankrupt.many better firms to contract with out there. avoid this one.

A typical day at work would be 8 hours. The job was so lean and pleasant, that working 10 hours felt like six. The management of the company was friendly and focused.

Start at 2pm, finish at 10pm. 30+10 mins break. I refreshed forklift licence. Management was very friendly and helpful. Co-workers were absolutely amazing, we are still friends. Very heavy goods to be lifted sometimes. Less busy time when we could slow down and fool around a bit. Also common parties.

I did the filing for this company, the staff was OK. I was only PT and was not being offered coming on full time.

1 Pull product and package per customer requirements.
2 Responsible for high levels of inventory transaction accuracy.
3 Use scanner guns for in and out transactions
4 Consolidate product on pallets for the stores. Organize pallets for trailer shipments.
5 Used power equipment: High lifts, Sit down fork lifts, power jacks, and cherry pickers

Co workers were great management were good. Had to work under pressure. Learned to drive reach truck. The hours were brillant.

Long hours, poor morale and misguided management. Typical day was long and hard usually leading to some sort of verbal confrontation. A good day (which were few and far between) usually were days the customer and upper management were not in the facility. Overall bad experience.

A typical day at work was 12 hour days, which included me verifying all the shippments being shipped out, using SAP Inventory to receive the merchandise coming in. My co workers were good to be around helped the day go by faster,.

I enjoyed my time at CEVA Logistics and I also learned a lot. The management was very helpful and allowed me to expand my learning and branch out for better opportunities within the company. My co- workers respected my position with me being so young, and the hardest part of my job was the fact that I was one of the youngest employees to hold a very – more...  important position at the warehouse which was making sure all employees and visitors were safe. The hardest part of the job was finding out after almost 4 years they had no security in my current position. Also working for a company through a temp service for 4 yrs without any benefits. – less

A good company that offers eight hours per day to work.
Have good trining for employees to stay current in job skills.
Great chance to advance into manament.
Great chance to meet new people.
Its never easy to have your hours cut and loose benifits.
having a company that has profit sharing for the employees.

After being repeatedly asked on the hours of work before I was hired, shift was changed within a weeks notice and manager would not budge even after it was explained that there were other obligations in place around the original schedule.

Mostly starting at 4am checking for any outstanding work from previous evening or requested workk from pm shift supervisor. Randomly check paletised orders from 1 item to 1700 items that were picked the previous evening, checking dates sku's and descriptions and quantities match those on the picking order. Break down pallet check and restack and wrap – more...  ready for dispatch, rectifying any discrepancies found, makeing detailed reports of any errors found. Morning shift started at 6am, had breifing continued checking, Checked 7% of all orders prior to dispatch with exception to new stores wich were all checked, Gave feedback to my department,(inventory control of any issues regarding picking or incorrect stock or dates in picking location, evaluate new items should be picked and packed. Very good management team, would listen to any suggestions you had that may improve everyones working enviroment. Very helpful and supportive. Co-workers all got on well together, the hardest part of my job was working to a sometimes short timeline in order to get the work checked and out to the customer, the most enjoyable part was haveing plenty of work to do and being left to do it. – less

Everyday is different, like Forest Gump says "Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get".

My approach to the day starts off with opening my emails, then assess which emails need prioritising. I then always prioritise my work load actioning what is important and has any impact / benefits to the company. I've learnt over – more...  the years with good organisation / time management / prioritising makes for happy employees.

Co-workers I can easily adapt to and have no problem adjusting and adapting to any environment. My previous co-workers definitely had team spirit. There were 5 departments in my previous organisation and everyone made the company as a whole with every individual playing a part and assisting always. I do miss and have made life time friends with alot of my co-workers.

Being a global organisation I always had to request rates and assistants from our overseas offices. Due to time differences, the hardest part of the job would probably have to be the time of email responses, requesting something you need via email or phone and not getting a response in a timely manner. This has an affect on productivity and causes a snow ball effect.

I have enjoyed all my managers / supervisors / team manager in all my previous roles. As managers they have developed me as the individual I am today. I would definitely work under any of them again in the future. – less

It's a good company but compared with others they lack in management and training of their employees but expect you to pick up the slack if someone is out and you have no knowledge of their workload.
