Preschool Teacher, Salt Lake City, UT - March 1, 2018
A Typical day at Challenger could include the best and worst experiences. Working with the preschoolers was extremely rewarding. Watching them reach and exceed goals you have set for them is the best pay off as a teacher there is. I worked there happily for several years, until i had to quit because of health reasons. When you are a teacher, missing days of work, no matter what the reasons, is unacceptable, especially at Challenger. When you miss work at Challenger you will be approached about it, and expect it to not be an understanding conversation. The headmaster was absolutely unforgiving in this area, no matter what the reason is. The director was absolutely wonderful to work for however. This is a very high paced job, organizational skills are a must. You will be expected to use Challengers resources to plan and implement their curriculum. They have everything you need, but you will be held accountable for weekly lesson plans, in great detail. This is very important to be succesful at Challenger.
