Champion is a subsidiary of Permian Mud Service. Seeking a deeper cash resource, in 2012 Permian Mud Service agreed to sell Champion Technologies and its related company Corsicana Technologies (collectively referred to as Champion Technologies) to Ecolab for $2.2 billion.
