I have gone through the process at schwab, phone interview,tests, actual interview, they are now running a background check on me.
two questions, if its successfull will they offer a job? second, has anyone failed a background check, what are they looking for?

I am currently employed with a large financial institution in retail banking where I am presently happy, but I'm looking for more of a challenge and I'm more interested in the Investment area. I discovered a position on-line with Charles Schwab as a Client Service Specialist but do not have my Series 7 and 63 licenses, which is preferred for that job. Will that hurt my chances of landing an interview. The position I currently have is very similar in responsibility in consumer banking, but I don't have the investment knowledge.
I have always wanted to work for Charles Schwab. If you work there, are you happy? Any helpful suggestions. Thanks.

I went in for an interview that I thought went well. I tried calling to see the status on the job and they will just blow you of. Then I see that they posted the same job again. I think they should have the decency to send you a letter that you did not get the job. It just shows you what type of company this is.
