Great place to work
Blended Service Coordinator/Supervisor (Current Employee) –  Bridgeville, PAApril 25, 2014
Since starting at this job around a year ago I have been given the opprotunity to move up to different responsibilities. I have also been given the chance to make contacts and expand my knowledge of services provided in the county. I also have been involved in many projects to expand the scope of the business. They provide me the support that I need to be there for my family as well as the ability to become a better supervisor. The management team works well together and respects suggestions and input from all levels of staff.
Pros
company phone, lap top, car, flexible schedule

no integrity from CEO down
former employee (Former Employee) –  bridgevilleMarch 11, 2014
Poor management from the CEO down. Upper management split staff by pitting program staff against the program directors. The work environment is toxic. Unless you are favored by the CEO you as a program director will be targeted. The mission statement reads well but isn't adhered to. No raises or bonuses and staffed are often mandated due to high staff turnover. No one except those select few favored by the CEO are valued. Unqualified individuals are placed in management positions which results on poor consumer outcomes. The agency is struggling financially. Referrals to all programs except the ltsr are way down. There is no potential for staff growth. Morale is so low staff openly complain in trainings, including trainings offered by outside providers. I once believed in Chartiers. Not any more. My advice, keep looking because Chartiers is a horrid place to work.

bad employee morale, cant get staff or keep them,
former employee (Former Employee) –  Bridgeville,, PAMarch 1, 2014
Absolute horrid place to work. No raises for five years. No bonuses anymore. Overworked employees. Senior management are back stabbers. They do not value their employees. They dont want supervisory input if it is different from theirs. They just pile on the work. Staff lie and go after each other. They cannot keep employees. The CEO should be fired. She has no skills as a CEO... very poor management skills. Since the previous CEO retired the agency has declined and is financially struggling. The agency has lost the respect of all its employees. Staff are retiring and finding other jobs.
Cons
low salary, bad benefits, don't value their employees, poor clinical care

Nightmare
BSC (Current Employee) –  PittsburghJune 30, 2012
Terrible place to work. Benefits are too expensive, low employee morale, management are motivated by personal agendas and disconnected from misson, must maintain 500 billable units per month (no credit for time off), minimal support, overwhelming unattainble employee expectations.
Pros
agency vehicles to utilize.
Cons
everything else.

Poor management, over worked employees, and had terrible benifits
Blended Service Coordinator (Former Employee) –  Bridgeville, PAApril 23, 2012
Chatiers used to be a great workplace but when a new CEO took over the place slowly went down hill. It became unable to hold employees, they turned employees against eachother, and threatened employees with there job security.
