Over all I'm sure it's a great company. I'm sorry that I didn't experience any of the positives that I read about. Hopefully for the company, it's just this location

I guess in the main dining services it's OK. At the Au Bon Pain Café where I was assigned, it is terrible. The café was not designed to accommodate the amount of volume that the café experiences. Cooler and Freezer space is totally inadequate for the volume. Emails to the ABP District Manager for some sort of relief go unanswered. Employees have been allowed to basically run the business for they're own convenience...not for customer service. Interim management did nothing to address ongoing problems. Little or no support from other management. After ten weeks of this nonsense, I resigned and walked out.

There is no test. I got hired as a shift supervisor and there was no test. At the end of the application there is an assessment that just determined you work performance and personality.
