Impersonal Company
Customer Service Representative (Current Employee), Hamtramck, MI –
As an employee I feel like the lowest most unimportant part of the company. We have no say in the operation of the compant. Even if you have great ideas no one will ever know, or care to know.

Boring Job
Customer Service Representative (Current Employee), Saint Clair Shores, MI –
Pros: sitting down
Cons: no breaks, bored, etc
The job is fairly easy seeing as though all you do is sit at a computer and process loans and hand cash out day in and day out. The most enjoyable part is spending time with my manager she is nice. The hardest part of the job is dealing with our district manager who is very very strict!

Easy work, but can get 'cooped up' feeling since you cannot leave the store.
Store Manager (Current Employee), Oklahoma –
Pros: ususally are dealing with pleasant people.
Cons: unable to leave the store for lunch.
I am currently a Store Mgr and so far, have loved working there. There are drawbacks, however. If you are working alone, you cannot leave the store for lunch. However, you can bring your lunch and try to time it when you have no interruptions. I love my customers and have developed good relationships with most of them. You are providing a service to – more...  them and should treat them with respect. Now, doing collections on those that have defaulted is not a fun task but it is necessary. Bonuses are hard to come by if your District or Regional Manager sets your goals too high to reach. – less

no breaks, no lunches, no benefits, no safety for employees
Customer Service (Former Employee), Arleta, CA –
Pros: my coworker
Cons: safety
i really disliked working for check n go, i was robbed at gun point, not given a promised raise after a year, i was not given breaks, our lunches were to be taken quickly and we were still expected to service customers. the company had multiple issues with robbery in their many locations but did not want to use protected glass in any of their stores – more...  because they felt it would ruin the relationship between customer and representative. – less

It is truly a great place to work. It's a small office and we all get along well with each other. Check n Go is mostly collection calls.

worse place ever!
CSR (Former Employee), Missouri –
Pros: there are no pros
Cons: overworked, underpaid, no compensation
If you do not want a life and are looking for a place to just rot away this would be the place. This company makes you think that they are good but in the end they are not. I worked there over a year. It takes 3 months for a review to be done, no lunches, and you get overworked. This company treats their employees horrible. I was so sick one day that – more...  I could not even lift my head, yet I had to stay at work. I was working at a different location than my "home" location. I ended up 1 and 1/2 hours from home driving in the dark extremely sick and nothing I could do. Taking away bonuses at the last minute because to many stores bonused. There are many, many other things that makes this company not worth working for. The worse part is that the managers I have worked for were great but anyone above them did not care. Everything was about this company and they do not care about their employees, the face of the company. – less
