We have developed a position at ChemStation called a Management Trainee in order to provide a pool of management talent to facilitate the rapid and controlled growth that ChemStation expects in the future. ChemStation needs to develop highly qualified leaders who, after investing a significant amount of time in learning our business through training as well as the actual performance of meaningful tasks and duties during that process, can be expected to manage their own ChemStation manufacturing centers in the future.
Effective and successful expansion at this level requires financial depth and management talent. The financial strength has already been established and the management depth must be developed.
ChemStation is an established manufacturer and distributor of environmentally safe water based detergents and process chemicals manufactured locally in nearly forty cities and sold in refillable containers which are supplied by ChemStation and located in the customer’s workplace. Through the years, ChemStation has grown mostly through franchising and now provides detergent and process chemical sales and delivery from coast to coast.
Our experience indicates that, while our business is not overly complex, it usually takes a year or better for a new employee in production or in sales to become familiar with the many nuances and complexities of each area. We mass customize products for many different customers. We provide customized solutions and container dispensing equipment to each customer’s refillable container and practice a high degree of relationship selling with each new and existing customer.
What can you expect from ChemStation?
ChemStation will provide you with a fair starting salary with annual salary reviews and a complete benefits program during your on the job training. If you successfully complete your training curriculum and work experience and if you have proven yourself to ChemStation management, you will be on a path which is intended to lead to your promotion as general manager of a new ChemStation start up operation.
Various ChemStation managers, all of whom will work to acquaint you with the various functional aspects of our business, will train you. During your training period, you will report to one of our most successful manufacturing center managers. You will be evaluated by several members of the management team as well as by other key employees on the basis of the quality of your work. This includes the constant energy level you utilize in performing your daily duties as well as particular benchmarks in each functional area such as housekeeping while manufacturing and customer service while in sales, and other methods of evaluation, which we will discuss upon your arrival at ChemStation.
We will provide you with the experiences and tools to manage sales, manufacturing and delivery personnel in the new manufacturing center for which you will be responsible.
