Minimum Degree: CPA license

Salary Range: $55,000 – $65,000, full-time with benefits
Opportunity for a Senior Accountant or Auditor that is technically proficient, an
awesome client communicator and a psychic who can foresee the problems coming
down the pipe and plan for them. The ideal candidate also understands the
challenges of a small CPA firm, can calm the most frantic clients, and is not afraid to
work 48-50 hours during tax season. We need a sharp person that stays on top of
professional standards, tax law changes and technical application and can be a
sounding board for staff questions.
We place a high emphasis on accuracy, client service, planning, and teamwork.
All of our clients are small businesses and we don’t take on “tax-only” clients. Our
core services focus on compilations, reviews, and consulting. We spend a lot of time
pulling up a chair next to clients to assist with implementing recommendations and
providing support during audits.
This position will involve more complex accounting work, performing SAS, SSARS
and attest engagements, addressing technical issues, plenty of technical reviews,
some tax planning, some tax preparation, a lot of consulting and always providing
proactive client service for complex clients.
Must have 3+ years of public accounting experience performing audits, reviews, and
compilations with emphasis on financial statement preparation
Have highly organized project management skills
Clear verbal and grammatically correct written communication skills in English
Energetic and enthusiastic personality
We do take technical qualifications seriously, so you must pass an accounting skills assessment with a score of 80% or better in order to be interviewed.
Experience with Creative Solutions Accounting Suite, QuickBooks, and ProSystem fx is a plus.
