Assistant Food Production Managers are accountable to direct all activities in the production area including staffing, human resource management, Loss prevention, and accident prevention. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Completion of staffing schedule for areas of responsibility
 Maintain quality of product produced by mixers, reduce error o% of bad batches, pull recipes for each mixer; put recipes away after completion of product and prior to the end of shift
 Check mixers for any procedures not followed correctly, insure mixers are using the proper mix times
 Keep wire-cutters and depositing equipment supplied at all times
 Verify that raw ingredients used are not out of date
 Give Warehouse manager list of ingredients needed on a daily basis
 Housekeeping on a daily basis to include; sweeping, cleaning tables, trash pick up, clean indside of mixers, clean warehouse around hoppers
 Fill out daily paperwork
 Maintain and update associate files on a regular basis

 Previous management experience in a Production setting
 Must be motivated to achieve production goal and have ability to motivate others to achieve production
 Must be flexible and able to adapt to a changing production schedule
 Must be a positive self starter, team oriented, with strong communication skills
 Basic math skills

 Must be available to work M-F, 1st or 2nd shift and occasional weekends during the holiday season.

Complexity: Must have the ability to lift up to 100 pounds.

Working Conditions: Most of the time will be spent in the production area. This is primarily a standing position. Some of the time will be spent at a desk using various office equipment including a computer, fax machine, telephone, etc.

Physical Demands: While performing duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand for long periods of time, use hands to finger, handle control, and to talk or hear. The associate is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The associate is occasionally required to stand, walk, and stoop. The associate may be required to lift up to 100 pounds.

Safety/ Hazards: This position requires the ability to understand and follow policy and procedures of safety rules and regulations. Must be familiar with office equipment.
