General Contractor (Former Employee) – Latrobe, PA – March 11, 2014
My average day consisted of making bottles and inspecting them for any imperfections at least once an hour, watching those bottles go from my machines to the other side of the plant where they were filled with a beverage making sure they wouldn't get stuck between the two. I also fixed many machines and switched molds for the many different types of bottles that we made. I also worked in the warehouse loading and unloading pallets of different materials that were essential for our production process. Many of the coworkers were very friendly and great to be around, and many close friendships were made because of that. Most of the management were friendly and very approachable, although the two highest were rude and would stop particular production if they didn't like an individual, creating a mess then yelling at the employee. They also seemed to have a dislike for veterans. But most of the people in management were very kind.
Great coworkers, office parties.
minimal pay raise, bias towards certain individuals
