Company is now capital one bank. When it was Chevy Chase Bank. It has a good sense of a community relationship and allowed you to grow and learn from your work experience there.

I worked here for just over a year and loved every minute of it. Can't say whether or not it has changed since being bought by Capital One Bank.

Chevt Chase Bank performed good duties for there banks and was consolidated with Capitol One Bank.

I loved working for Chevy Chase Bank because there were people that enjoyed working with me. We were really in a family environment. We supported one another when needed and looked out for each other and even though we are not working we still keep in touch. I just love that. My supervisor and co-workers and I were very close. The hardest part of the – more...  job was having to confront someone about the way she preceived that I had dismissed her at my desk. I mostly enjoyed just being at Chevy Chase. Chevy Chase Bank was an excellent company to work for, unfortunately they were aquired by Capital One Bank in Feb. 2009, and although the name has changed, Capital One has tried to incorporate Chevy Chase Banks, vision and values into their own.

I was never allowed to advance although I knew the job of the next level.
