When I come to work first thing on my to-do-list is to check in with other departments that reflect on my job. Such as kitchen staff and conference services. I learn more and more communications skills as I associate with onsite contacts daily. Each and everyday is a learning experience in the hospitality field that I can use in other job circumstances. Management is positive and always aspiring others like myself to look to join the crew. Mostly, the people at work all speak to each other. On the other hand many the staff complain once the function has begun is an irritant. At the workplace their is many offers to join leadership groups and outside of work activities.
