Assistant Teacher (Head Start), Chicago, IL - October 16, 2016
This head start program is a great place to work. A typical day with toddler includes: hand washing, teeth brushing, breakfast, diaper changes/checks, independent play, interactive play, lunch, nap, snack, story time, free play, group play and outdoor play. I have learned a lot about the creative curriculum and working in a head start center. Management is great and my co-workers are really nice. The hardest part of the job is working with toddlers. I prefer 3-5 and above in age. The most enjoyable part of the job is watching the children interact and building relationships with children.
