Pros: benefits
Cons: undercompensated; hourly compensation not competitive
Good benefits but bad work environment. I would have never worked here if I knew these things: Daily Irrate and irritated clients who constantly complain about staff, management, the center, etc. Negative work environment where employees are not valued and blamed. No prep time. Management is rude and treats employees poorly to maintain control. Not enough training opportunities for all staff.

Pros: working with children
Cons: healthcare, wages
A typical day at Child Development Centers includes interacting with children ranging in age from 8 weeks to 12 years.
I've learned how to redirect children in a positive manner.
Management at Child Development Centers is very helpful and personable.
My co-workers were great to work with and very outgoing.
The hardest part of the job was learning how to redirect correctly.
The most enjoyable part of the job is when a child asks for help with something they are struggling with, and they get that "Ah-Hah moment" with my help.
