Interact with families but educating them on Genetic Research and then obtaining consent for specimen collections from families.

I served as a project Coordinator for the Process innovation center at the Childrens Hospital Of Philadephia. During this time I help Project Managers with Epic Go Live. The Management was great in this department. The hardest part of the job was learning six simga processes.

I work at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia though a contract company by the name of Oce. Since I been with the company my schedule has been changed several times.

I had a fun time with this internship it was defintely first rate experience for someone who has never work with animals ebefore

Offers great work life balance with excellent management staff. Continual raising of customer expectations and the fast pace is the hardest. Both staff and management have fun while being productive.

My work experience at Children's Hospital was chanllegeing and rewarding. I met and learned so much through people working in different areas of this hospital.
The doctor's and nurses were most helpful and knowledgeable explaing the things that were being done. There were difficult times when children were going through procedures or being admitted – more...  to the hospital.

I worked in a very fast paced environment. I produced as expected based on my vast experience. However CHOP's isnt all that it seems. I speak of only the Business office / Collections. Unfortunately they have unfair practices in the way they communicate within the department. They have leadership who should not be in that postion. Because I express – more...  my opinion of how it might work right they ignored and then it became a hostile work environment. Not a place to work for advancement. – less

CHOP is an interesting place to work. It's very diverse and has a great team approach to patient care. As a team member you have a lot of resources and help available to you, which promotes productivity.

Its a good place to work and it also gives a person alot of culture and gives room for growth within in the company However The hours that they over may not be great for everyone and some of the tasks they may ask a person to complete my not be within in job guidelines

I enjoyed every minute working with the staff, doctors and all of the patient's.
