Interesting work enviornment with very poor management. No accountability or clear lines of management.
Relief Shift /Assistant Shift Engineer (Current Employee), Vancouver, BC – May 20, 2012
Pros: co workers and clients and people interaction
Cons: management indifference.
I have learned a lot here I have learned how to deal with maintenance and facilities issues on an emergency basis with no immediately available help.
The hardest part of this job is understanding who to go to with particular issues. Management seems to not want to take ownership of responsibility.
The most enjoyable part of the job are the people – more... I work with and the clients we serve. This is a very people oriented job when compared to most power engineering jobs which tend to be more technically related – less

Child Life specialist assistant (Former Employee), Bronx, N.Y. – August 30, 2011
Pros: helped children
Cons: volunteer only on sunday
I volunteered at the children's hospital for six months. I enjoyed interacting with the children. Every chance I tried to make the children feel special. There are so many children today who are hospitalized with so many illnesses. To see a child smile makes my life even more meaninigful.
Clinical Practice Assistant (Former Employee), Boston,MA – March 23, 2011
Pros: employee incentives
Cons: location
Working at Children's Hospital was the best job that I had. The compnay looks out for their employees and made working there fun, and educational. I would love to be re-employed again if they had a site closer to my home.
