 – more... back in the day, a guy named Larry Levine created a little hole in the wall on Greenville Avenue in Dallas Texas called Chili's Grill and Bar. Our namesake Norman Brinker had pioneered the whole “good food, fast service, casual setting” thing and was really diggin’ the vibe. Some called it revolutionary. We called it simple, and from then on we’ve tried not to mess up the formula. Has it worked? Well, thousands of Chili’s later, across the United States, and over 30 countries, yeah, we think so. But the secret to our success is more than the spicy food, sassy menus, saucy ChiliHeads, and spiky cocktails. It’s also the margaritas, the Baby Back Ribs, the Chocolate Molten, the cool place to watch the game…sorry, got a little proud there. Ultimately, it’s the way we treat people – our Guests AND our own.

When everybody has a good time, everybody goes home happy and looks forward to coming back. So we aren't afraid to dance around the building with big hearts busting out of our chests. We couldn't be more proud to partner with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in the fight against childhood cancer. We help out locally, too, by doing what we can to feed the hungry with the help of North Texas Food Bank. And because a little bit from all of us helps a lot, we even have a way to help each other through our Brinker Family Fund--giving back to BrinkerHeads facing catastrophic loss or illness. Our Managers, General Managers and Managing Partners are the best in the biz. They coach and lead their teams, delight our Guests, and drive the business forward. Mind you…this ain’t easy work. Remember the clown in the circus juggling a chain saw and two knives on a chair on a tight rope? Well, not that we think you’re a clown (and chain saws are scary) but you get the idea. Multi-taskers with an ear for priceless feedback and a knack for inspiring their teams to deliver an amazing Guest experience—that’s our idea of management.


Our Front of the House team gets the special privilege of smiling big and living it up with our BFFs: Our Guests! So, whether you're a Server, To-Go Specialist, Host/Hostess, or a rock star Bartender, you get to turn a typical Monday night into a full-on experience. Guests are like family to us; without all the fights over the remote. We love nothing better than to welcome them to our home away from home, get ‘em hooked up with their to-die-for favorites, grab ‘em a tall and frosty one to wash it down with, and hook ‘em up with potato skins for their couch potato plans. We need ChiliHeads to represent, so we like to say: Act Like You Own the Place. Wanna give it a shot?


Our Heart of the House team could take down Gordon Ramsey and Bobby Flay with their hands tied and a garnish in their ball cap. Chili’s Line Cooks, Prep Cooks, and Dishwashers are truly the heart to our house—they chop, dice, smoke, sizzle, grill, fry and garnish like any of those gurus on the Food Network. Although they may not have a prime time show, Guests know them well from the kicked up tastes on the plate. They are the engine to our red Mini Cooper, keeping the food safe, the kitchen clean, and the Guests wanting more. If you’ve ever wanted to know what that seasoned salt is made of, just give one of these careers a try.
