Student registration is easy! Simply visit our Kindergarten/New Student Registration page and follow the process outlined online.
Is there School Choice?
School choice currently only exists between Essex High School and South Burlington High School. Consistent with state law, there is no school choice for grades K-8. For more details about school choice, visit the School Choice web page. Initial student placement decisions of K-3rd grade students in Hiawatha Elementary School or Summit Street School are made collaboratively between the two school principals. Students must live in Essex Junction to attend any Essex Junction School District school.
