Spectrum Rehab/sports medicine
Benefits Specialist (Former Employee), Cincinnati, OH – April 8, 2013
Pros: patient care
Cons: physically taxing
Typical day at work was very rewarding. In the beginning I worked in the office doing all sorts of things. Then I advanced to assist with patient rehab. That part of the job was very rewarding. Made me smile on an hourly basis.

Co-workers were amazing people. Always upbeat and ready to face the day. Hardest part would have to be the physical demands – more... of the job. However, rewarding at the same time.

I enjoyed the patients, getting to know them, helping them with their aches and pains. It brought me happiness knowing i relieved a person's pain for a short duration. – less

Fun place to work with a great group of nurses
Registered Nurse (Former Employee), Jersey City, NJ – March 11, 2013
Pros: great group of nurses to work with
Cons: no job security
Unstable work environment due to poor economic conditions, so I had to seek employment elsewhere. I miss working here everyday. A great group of people to work with in every department. Never a bad day at work.

Christ Hospital lives up to its name.
Payroll Clerk (Former Employee), Jersey City, NJ – January 22, 2013
Pros: free lunches, birthday parties, christmas parties, bonuses, increases, promotions, warm and friendly co-workers, great location, 401k benefits, healthcare
Christ Hospital was a wonderful place to work. I started working there as a receptionist, but due to the warm and friendly staff, I quickly made it from the reception desk to the Payroll Accounting Clerk position. They embraced me as not only a friend, but a member of their family. Everyone's professionalism and tact was truly wonderful. It grieved – more... me to leave such a wonderful and nurturing environment due to cut-backs during the financial crisis. If the cost of living had not increased at the time, I would have kept the position. – less

Child Abuse Prevention Program Coordinator (Former Employee), Jersey City, NJ – January 3, 2013
Pros: good vacation time
Cons: no raises, laid off
Communication with co-workers and supervisor was good. I would provide individual and family counseling to DYFS referred cases. I would provide the state quarterly and yearly reports. I won the Teen Parenting Grant for the hospital. I facilitated parentig and anger managerment groups.

Bad management
Support Partner - Patient Transporter (Former Employee), Jersey City, NJ – November 27, 2012
Pros: transporting
Cons: lunch
Bad management because on the time-frame that I was working, the supervisor was out mostly everyday. I had a per-diem job and I was doing great. They, Christ Hospital says, I've done the opposite.
