Marketing Clerk (Part-Time), San Dimas, CA - January 20, 2016
A typical day for me consisted of waiting and waiting and more waiting! I waited to see if I would receive a request to fulfill marketing kits for representatives. Some days I wouldn't have anything to do and some days the day went by fast. For me, it was too boring. I quickly got bored of waiting or doing the same thing over and over again. Personally, I wasn't using my hard earned degree for this type of work (A monkey could do it). My manager was awful! She was very arrogant, provided no direction, and I could probably do her job with my eyes closed. She never properly told me the rules of our department but constantly was always telling me I was doing something wrong. She should have lead by example. The hardest part was being bored all day. The most enjoyable part was when I did not have to go back there anymore. Most of my co-workers have all been there 20-30+ years so it was hard to relate. I learned that I shouldn't sell myself short and I'm worth more than peanuts every month.
