Job Summary:
This full-time position administers all financial affairs of the company and its affiliate organizations; inclusive of planning, reporting, policies, accounting practices and participation in the development, implementation and evaluation of financial strategy; as well as advise the Board of Directors on all matters related to the finances of the company.

Insure accuracy and integrity of all financial data including monthly and annual financial reporting. Assure that financial reporting is in accordance with GAAP.
Work with the Board of Directors in the developing the company's financial plans, objectives and policies, and provide reports that outline the company’s financial position in the areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and future operations.
Coordinate the development and monitoring of annual budgets.
Represent the company in its relations with the financial community, including lending institutions, government agencies, and accounting firms, and ensure that all external report obligations are met.
Work with outside accounting firm(s) as required for planning and preparation of taxes returns, and minimize tax expense to the extent possible.
Work with the finance staff to ensure our internal bookkeeping activities such as general accounting, property accounting, internal auditing, cost accounting, and budgetary controls are handled correctly and in a timely manner.
Assist the Operations and Production Managers in developing tools for reporting and evaluating the efficiency of operations, assure that standard costing methods are correct and that variances are properly reported. .
Work with the Human Resources Director negotiating benefits on behalf of the company and advising the board of directors on insurance matters.
Assure that proper internal controls are in place and functioning properly to safeguard company assets.
Assure that company assets are properly protected through adequate insurance coverage and other means of risk management.
Secure funding of operations by projecting cash flow requirements and working with government and banking institutions for required loan(s). Monitor key financial borrowing ratios.
Administer company benefits programs, Cash bonus, stock bonus and retirement program. Forecast the benefit levels and advise the Board regarding annual benefits. Investigate ways to improve benefits programs.
Work with attorneys regarding various legal matters, both domestic and international; including but not limited to – contracts, intellectual property, benefits, litigation and matters of taxation.
Work with foreign Chroma entity(s), to assure proper accounting practices/reporting are in place and that benefits are consistent with parent company benefits.
Work with appropriate groups to evaluate, analyze and advise on new business development/new product potential

Minimum of a BS; A CPA or MBA is a plus.
At least 5 years experience in a Senior Financial Management role preferably with a manufacturing company.
Familiar with ERP systems.
Strong background in inventory costing/management.
Excellent organizational skills.
Experience in employee owned organizations or open book management highly desired.
Self-starter, detail oriented, independent worker
Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
Ability to analyze and resolve problems
Ability to work effectively with all individuals/groups within the organization

Starting salary $90,000-$100,000
