Assistant Manager (Former Employee) –  Tallahassee, FLOctober 27, 2017
Chuck E Cheese's is a stressful place to work with poor policies and upper management. The workplace culture is awful. The hardest part of the job was being there. There was no enjoyable parts of the job. Stores management team are just glorified kitchen help! I would never recommend this company.

Okay for an entry level job especially if you are just starting out. More cons than pros. Job advancement is rare, pay rate is minimum and raises are hard to come by.
Pros
Free lunch as a Team 2 Trainer
Cons
Stressful, no benefits, rare job advancement

It was a good job for many years but went downhill in the last 4.
Technical Manager (Former Employee) –  Lexington, KYOctober 25, 2017
Used to be a good job. Now they ran off all the good managers that had any time in with the company and made any money. They hire young managers that don't know anything that makes your job much harder and more stressful than it has to be.

Cashier (Current Employee) –  Indianapolis, INOctober 21, 2017
At work it is very fast paced environment. You have to be quick at times. I learned how to deal with rude comments and deal with people/kids. The hardest part is when I work cash by myself and would have to do multiple things at once.
Pros
Good and friendly coworkers
Cons
no free lunch

Applied knowing i would only be there temporarily as a summer job before i left for college. The wages was low the hours were short and management was non existent. I made the best of it and kept customers satisfied.

It was an interesting experience. You have to know people to work up in positions and have to get used to standing on your feet for long periods of time. You start off with Kid check so you get used to meeting the guest and learn how to work long hours
Pros
experience in customer service
Cons
no tips unless party room worker

Party Host (Former Employee) –  Brandon, FLOctober 15, 2017
Pretty common sense and easy job. Wish party hosts get tipped but unfortunately people don't know that they can tip. They assume its included or they just don't ask. People go to restaurants and tip their servers. SO TIP YOUR PARTY HOSTS.

Some days are busy and other days get boring. A job is a job and you just gotta deal with everyone even if it's ratchet. But the best part is working with children. :)
Pros
free food, like SOME of the employees.
Cons
no breaks, ghetto fights, rude people, drama

Gameroom Attendant (Current Employee) –  Pasadena, TXOctober 12, 2017
It is a fun, rather easy first job once you get into the swing of things, but that's just it, its really only good for someone's first ever job. If you like working around people in high school and making money on the side, this job is for you.
Pros
Free Lunch, Play games for free, come in anytime you want to play
Cons
Short Breaks, Rude Management, Sometimes Rude cast members. Rude guest
