Chuck E Cheese's is a stressful place to work with poor policies and upper management. The workplace culture is awful. The hardest part of the job was being there. There was no enjoyable parts of the job. Stores management team are just glorified kitchen help! I would never recommend this company.
Gameroom Attendant (Former Employee) – Huntsville, Al – October 25, 2017
The work environment was very crowded often and unorganized which made it very hard to get things done in a orderly fashion. Also Staff was often stressed which made working together often hard at times.
Got to Play Games
Very Clustered, Crowded which made it hard for us to work
It was a good job for many years but went downhill in the last 4.
Technical Manager (Former Employee) – Lexington, KY – October 25, 2017
Used to be a good job. Now they ran off all the good managers that had any time in with the company and made any money. They hire young managers that don't know anything that makes your job much harder and more stressful than it has to be.
Cashier (Current Employee) – Indianapolis, IN – October 21, 2017
At work it is very fast paced environment. You have to be quick at times. I learned how to deal with rude comments and deal with people/kids. The hardest part is when I work cash by myself and would have to do multiple things at once.
Game Room Attendant (Former Employee) – New Orleans, LA – October 20, 2017
Applied knowing i would only be there temporarily as a summer job before i left for college. The wages was low the hours were short and management was non existent. I made the best of it and kept customers satisfied.
Multiple Positions (Former Employee) – Whitehall Township, PA – October 18, 2017
when I worked there I have a lot of fun with my coworkers and helping the customers and there family to have a great place for the family to eat and have lots of fun with great games and get great prizes.
Cast Member (Former Employee) – Las Vegas, NV 89128 – October 16, 2017
It was an interesting experience. You have to know people to work up in positions and have to get used to standing on your feet for long periods of time. You start off with Kid check so you get used to meeting the guest and learn how to work long hours
Party Host (Former Employee) – Brandon, FL – October 15, 2017
Pretty common sense and easy job. Wish party hosts get tipped but unfortunately people don't know that they can tip. They assume its included or they just don't ask. People go to restaurants and tip their servers. SO TIP YOUR PARTY HOSTS.
Some days are busy and other days get boring. A job is a job and you just gotta deal with everyone even if it's ratchet. But the best part is working with children. :)
Cashier (Former Employee) – Chicago, IL – October 15, 2017
The service is very poor and the management of the company are really unorganized. The schedule are not consistent, Employees come in whenever they want the mangers and a lot of Employees are very Disrespectful.
It is a fun, rather easy first job once you get into the swing of things, but that's just it, its really only good for someone's first ever job. If you like working around people in high school and making money on the side, this job is for you.
Free Lunch, Play games for free, come in anytime you want to play
Short Breaks, Rude Management, Sometimes Rude cast members. Rude guest
