Great environment in a growing company for skilled employees
Senior Accountant (Former Employee), Salt Lake City, UTJuly 16, 2014
Pros: positive, professional work environment, fair wages, annual bonuses
Cons: occasional conflicts between the bank, with priorities determined by regulatory agencies, and the holding company, with priorities focused on shareholder returns.
CIT Bank was (and presumably still is) an excellent company where employees were expected to work hard, but were rewarded for their efforts. They hired quality employees that you could feel proud to work with, and adapted well to change. The culture of the office was such that most employees were comfortable asking for and offering assistance, and the company succeeded as a team.

Pros: a paycheck
Cons: "metrics" vs. "customer" - without the latter there is no former.
Good Luck. Frequent reductions in force. Process driven. Would keep looking elsewhere.

O Banco passou pelos desafios do mercado apos a crise de 2008
Senior Credit Officer (Former Employee), Miami, FLApril 23, 2015
Empresa dinamica com grandes profissionais.

O banco saiu da area internacional para se concentrar nos negocios nos E.U.A. Foi uma decisao acertada, uma vez que o custo de fundos eh alto na America Latina, Asia e Europa.
