Small group but building
Coordinator Loan Processing (Former Employee) –  Pasadena, CASeptember 13, 2017
I appreciate the fact that this bank takes a chance with people. Unfortunately they expanded beyond need of their business and caused for employees to have to take a separation package. I have seen and been in the ups and downs of the Financial Market, meaning I don't blame this bank for their decision. This a a small company that is building and with a little more leadership it would rival more reputable companies.

This would be a great company to work for, but for the deep culture of preferential treatment by some management members and the fact that they got away with it.

A Wonderful Opportunity to Gain Experience
Systems Analyst I (Current Employee) –  Tempe, AZApril 21, 2017
During my time with CIT Bank I have had the privilege of working with some of the most knowledgeable and professional individuals I have ever been teamed with. Members from all different teams within the company supported each other as well to maximize customer experience and minimize any production impacts. The wealth of knowledge I have attained from these colleagues of mine over the years has been unparalleled. The management for our environment was always goal oriented, supportive, and efficient.
Pros
Great shift opportunities and long weekends

Less than satisfactory
VP of Strategy and Business Development (Current Employee) –  New York, NYApril 4, 2017
Changing priorities along with constant management changes. Not competitive in terms of salary, life balance. Poor communication from top down, layoffs and re-structuring are constant.

O Banco passou pelos desafios do mercado apos a crise de 2008
Senior Credit Officer (Former Employee) –  Miami, FLApril 23, 2015
Empresa dinamica com grandes profissionais.

O banco saiu da area internacional para se concentrar nos negocios nos E.U.A. Foi uma decisao acertada, uma vez que o custo de fundos eh alto na America Latina, Asia e Europa.

Great environment in a growing company for skilled employees
Senior Accountant (Former Employee) –  Salt Lake City, UTJuly 16, 2014
CIT Bank was (and presumably still is) an excellent company where employees were expected to work hard, but were rewarded for their efforts. They hired quality employees that you could feel proud to work with, and adapted well to change. The culture of the office was such that most employees were comfortable asking for and offering assistance, and the company succeeded as a team.
Pros
Positive, professional work environment, fair wages, annual bonuses
Cons
Occasional conflicts between the Bank, with priorities determined by regulatory agencies, and the holding company, with priorities focused on shareholder returns.
