Do you work at Citi? How did you find the job? How did you get that first interview?
Any advice for someone trying to get in?

Does Citi verify GPA or request transcripts during the hiring process?

I'm currently a personal banker at Chase, and I really enjoy my job even with all the BS. I made 56k last year after a full year and I really started to get good at the job half way through the year.
I was offered a PB position at Citibank and a starting salary of 50k, I'm currently getting 37k at chase and with commission I'm hoping to hit 60k this year.
The 50k offer from Citi sounds good but many people are telling me their commission is non-existent. Anyone here currently or in the past worked at Citi as a PB? What would you say is the average monthly commission? Would you recommend working for citi?
Any feedback on would greatly be appreciated! Thanks!

I worked for Citigroup at the Dallas, TX Card Issuance site. I tolerated the terrible work enviroment for 5 long years until I had enough. This site does not appreciate or foster good work ethics. They hire anyone off the street. The work enviroment is so bad because they hire bad managers and in return the managers hire bad employees. Most of the employees that work there are sorry to say, "ghetto", and I say that because that's exactly how they act. Constant cussing loud, bad music blaring all over the floor. They have employees drinking and smoking pot in the parking lot during break times. I was the top producing machine operator and my attendance was almost immaculate, but that doesn't matter to them. They were trying to find ways to get me out of that site because I didnt't want to conform to what they see as acceptible. Also, if you want a promotion, don't count on it because management already have their favorite in mind for the job. So, if anyone is wanting or thinking about applying to work here, please think again.

What are the average starting salaries, bonuses, benefits and travel requirements like at Citi?
What do you like best about working at Citi? Are there any great perks or special treats for employees?

If anyone works or has knowledge of Gray TN Citi Call Center, I would greatly appreciate knowing about call center rep positions:
Starting salary
Do they have part-time work
Are weekends, evenings and holidays required?
Do they do 4-day compressed work week (4-10 hour shifts)
Anything else you may want to add, how management treats you, etc.
Many thanks,

I got a call from a manager at Primerica in the Chicago area. I typically don't jump at sales jobs but this guy had his pitch together and appeared genuine about the earning potential. He seemed more interested in my management background than about my lack of sales experience. Does anyone have any insight to the culture at Primerica?
