Friendly environment, very productive,
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee), Medford, MA –
Pros: friendly environment and satisfying work
Cons: sitting in the same place all day
Co-workers were friendly. Everyone had a desk and computer where we resolved issues for debit card holders. I found them to be satisfying. I was the person that resolved the most problems in a day..on or close to 200. I was chosen to train new employees. I like working there. I learned how to use the software. The supervisor and management were very – more...  helpful when needed. The hardest part of the job the repetition, but it was tolerable. The most enjoyable part was being able to resolve the issues of the debit card holders. – less

Not a secure job unless you are a very good sales person
Third Key Manager (Current Employee), Rotterdam, NY –
Citizens Bank only cares about sales performance. If you do not meet your sales baseline you will get fired. Also very hard to get transfer to a different position,

Numbers Driven
Banker 1 (Current Employee), Albany, NY –
Citizens Bank is a good start to the banking industry. They are, however, not a career stop. You will take away many things from employment with them, such as being more comfortable on the phones and making outbound calls and being able to follow strict directions and making sure that everything is done by the book. However, you will not take away a – more...  sense of worth with your day to day duties. – less

Would like a fun and passionate job
Assistant Manager (Current Employee), King of Prussia, PA –
Pros: hour lunches, family life balance, no weekends
Cons: short breaks, micro management, clamped to office desk
I'm a hard working dedicated father of 2 who had moved up in the ranks in banking. I started as a teller and have been in management for the past 3 years. My strength is working independently with one primary focus. I've been successful in sales but I am looking to do something different. The most challenging part of Management is getting everyone on – more...  the same page for one goal. The most enjoyable part of management is earning respect and having a piece of mind for career opportunities. – less

Was very unahappy at this employer. I worked in a branch and it was a sales environment. Asked for a lot of work for very little pay. Upper mangement treated people very poorly. Only cared about numbers and goals.
