Summer Camp Counselor (Former Employee) – Boynton Beach, FL – August 17, 2017
I absolutely loved my job while I was employed with the city. Everything from the interview to the last day of camp went so smooth. Working with 25 5-7 year olds had its day, but I would do it all over again in a heart beat. My supervisors were beyond amazing and they stick up for their workers like no other employer has ever done that I've seen. They referred to us as family and that's how it felt when I went to work everyday. The pay here was AMAZING as well. I would definitely work for the city again.
LIFEGUARD (Current Employee) – Boynton Beach, FL – February 17, 2016
It's a great place to work if you want to be a lifeguard or aquatic manager. We get lots of breaks working at the pool. I love teaching kids how to swim. Everybody shares responsiblity for cleaning and other duties as a lifeguard there.
HVAC Mechanic (Former Employee) – Boynton Beach, FL – February 1, 2016
The city is a ok place to work for. Benefits are going down hill. Always putting out fires do to understaffing and unable to catch up on work and they will blame you for that. Management won't listen to the workers professional opinion. Hardest part of the job is management getting in the way. Unsafe atmosphere never have a safety meeting. Co-workers are great, help the day go by. Management knows nothing about your job. City has no vision.
