I've enjoyed working this summer at the city's Splash! Aquatic park, I was able to be the face our community saw everyday this summer. I enjoyed being able to sign kids up for swim lessons, help perform quick and accurate transactions, and having a great leadership team that worked with my schedule.

A summer position at the City of La Mirada's Splash Regional Aquatic Center is fast paced, structured, and fun.
A typical day at work is spent outside in the warm sun and water. It may also include random safety tests to keep staff on their feet but training more than compensates to prepare you for any emergencies and other job related skills.
The most enjoyable part of this job was the competitive pay and the fulfillment of teaching young kids how to swim. The only significant draw back was the negative and unprofessional attitude of some of the co-workers.
